I spit on you miners pteww
Para llegar a 33mhz, ¿necesita modificar el BIOS? o con el BIOS original puedes?
I own 2 rx 580s in my desktop and love them. I want to build a 6 or 8 card rig, and I’m having a hard time finding a better card/value. I might just buy more 580s.
what is in you opinion the most profitabile algo for rx 580? since your using it longer then i and i respect your opinion.thank you and have a great day
470 480 570 580 8gb cards are great on ethereum – i still manage 20 of them for friends who have cheaper electric here in the uk. a second hand one would be my budget starter choice today. for sure. my next choice would be a bios modded blower 5700 (the cheapest 5700 you can get). kawpow raven is fascinating – and seems a huge success at making mining accessible for all- i hope eth devs are paying attention.
Well I DESAGRRE with you because I only get 0.15$ per day which is bad in my opinion.
What do you think about buying a 5700xt or two 580s
The OG will forever be the OG
Hello!
I need help and I hope you have the desire and opportunity to help me.
Recently, I started mining.
I have six Asrock rx 590 8gb phantom gaming x oc but I have a big problem setting them up. The original Core Clock is 1560MHz, Memory Clock is 2000MHz, Memory Tipe – GDDR5 (Samsung).
With the original video card bios, Ethereum's mining speed is about 24-25 MH /s.
For modified BIOS with the Polaris Bios Editor under the ONE CLICK TIMING option, the speed becomes about 29-29.8 MH / s, but it gives extremely high errors in HWiNFO and maintains the video card temperature around 72-79 degrees.
For modified BIOS with Polaris Bios Editor at 1: 1750 to 1: 2000 timing copy, mining speed is about 28-28.2 MH / s and temperature is about 72-77 degrees.
With this modified version of the bios, when I make adjustments in OverdriveNTool with GPU parameters – P7: 1560MHz / 1070-1100mV and Memory – P2: 2000MHz / 850mV the video card consumption drops by about 20W per card and the temperature becomes about 68-74 degrees.
If I started changing Core Clock (P7) and Memory Clock values and making them 1610MHz and 2250MHz, then whatever correction I make to the mV values, the system freezes and stops working.
What parameters do I need to give Core Clock and Memory Clock to achieve system stability and optimum digging speed? Thanks.
You mean BS-19?
I have a rig of these as well as the red devil vega 64's…Great and stable cards.
Can you please pm me i want to ask something
This was exactly the video I needed right now. I've just bought a motherboard for mining but was trying to decide on GPUs and I've been looking at the RX 580!!
I bought a p140 off but pro says tested n works shows a [this device cannot start.(code 10) insufficient system resources exist to complete the API??? What do I do??
Xfx is great as is has the overclock bios so you do not have to change the bios
Good topic, and useful for new comers; but it didn't use to be a card for non tech savy who never flashed a bios.
I still have 17 RX 580's spinning and half of them I bought in February of 2017; I think I have three Red Devil Golden Sample cards hashing away; I gave the other two away, one to my wife and one to my son because they are just one of the nicest looking cards sitting in a Red led tempered glass gaming rig.
The other one that has held up extremely well is the xfx rx 580 with the hot swap fans; just pop the twice latches and they drop out and new ones come quick from best buy; instead of waiting weeks for a China speed pak, ( ironic name ), because it takes 24 days to get in the mail for GTX cards; and you never really know what is going to show up in the end; like the fans spinning the opposite direction or just do not cool as well as the stock fans; or strange connectors and short wires; even if the model number on the sticker matches; but the aspect I like the best is relatively low power consumption to hash these days; when I first got them I thought they were power hogs; but now I am just fine with 624 watts for 258.4 Mh/s with X8 GPU's, while GTX 10 series cards seem to like about 400 watts per rig more for the same work load; they are a bit stronger at first but seem to fade over time; rinse repeat with upgraded thermal pads and tape; which improves for a while; and last longer; bit if they didn't chew through so many algorithms; I would have stuck with 100% RX cards; instead of a 50/50 split of RX & GTX cards.
Peace.
You finally talked about GRIN! ❤️ my fav coin. (Buy Grin)
Hey man im new to mining im thinking about buying a 2 rx 580 rig any sugestions of builds etc ?
I got 4 asus special mining 470, somebody Had flash it to 570 and I get 30mhz at only 80watts only 1 connector
my RX 570 8GB Gigabyte all do 32Mh/s at 90-93 watts
580 are still good for mining, mine is doing 33Mhs , 11 of them 5 Samsung and 6 Hynix, separated them as per memory, power consumption 494 watts and 572 watts
i love these cards, all of mine are samsung but 1 , one is hynix but other then that i love em got like 6 of em i think. trying to sell some 570s lol 4gb ones
It’s not very amazing here!! 0.41usd residential
I bought some used RX-580 for about 130$, they are grate for mining ETH. I was considering buying some Vega 56 at around 240$, but after seeing your last test of those cards energy usage I´m not so sure any more. I will use all my Nvidia 1660-Ti and super cards for mining Ravencoin KawPow when they launch the new algorithm. 🙂 What advise do you all have for Vega 56? The prices for used cards in Norway has risen lately.
Have you thought about using pico psu's?
470, 480, 570, 580 are all still great for mining eth, 8gbs. That's all I have. I'm gonna have to buy some NVIDIA cards because the uncertainty of eth 2.0 though. The 1660 super is a better deal than the 1660ti, imo. For a similar price I can get a used 1070 or 1080.
Posted with the wrong account !!! LOL Keep the hashes high and your GPU's cool !!!
Great info !! Keep em comin' bro!!!
Best cards I've had(longevity and stability) are my RX 580 Sapphire Nitro. All of my cards are around 34Mh/s for years now.
Always liked that card. They should have left the pentagram on it
Great video once again. To think I almost sold my 580s…
Please guide mode red devil rx 580 8gb from a to z for mining etherum
hash/watt theres very few gpu arches that beat polaris still
and even 4GB cards will be able to mine in linux till the end of the year
potentially longer depending on what ppl discover they can do
we all thought TLB thrashing would be the end to every gpu till that changed
I am glad you bring up the lolminer for amd cards. 👍🏻
I have started mining crypto for a month now using my AMD APU, mining on randomarq algo. I don't have a GPU but would love to buy one but can't really decide which one to choose. Which one will you recommend for a newbie miner like me, AMD or Nvidia? Thanks in advance.
It has 2300 shaders (more than gtx1070, 1660 super…) , gddr5 8gb, 256bit…. Basicaly all it needs is better drivers and power menagment. ( Nvidia has Gpu boost that works good)
Never got my hands on a Red Devil, always loved them!! Same for the newer models in Red Devil version!! Cheers mate.
This card is a Boss!
